Student health is not about the students, sure you can get free and cheap treatment, but walk-ins are not acceptable. Student health should have doctors set aside every hour for students to use for walk-ins. I know at Northern you had to see the nurse before you went to thee clinic. The nure could prescribe could meds. at a discount, If you needed to see a doctor the clinic always had room for the student with in a few hours. The student health needs to be improved to make it more student friendly and easier for a student to walk-in for an appointment, they can greatly improve on service if they did this
In Defense of Mayoral Candidate Nick Severson
Professor Jamison Rounds; how dare you! I do not appreciate (as a former student of yours) you discussing the public good as if it is an idea that you personally follow. Dr., with all do respect it might have been cool to brag about your brother (Gov. Mike Rounds) changing the law specifically for you to distill your own vodka, but it is not being honest with the readers of our school newspaper, and the students at USD. You sir, are intelligent enough to understand that politicians to not live up to a higher standard because they are elected by the majority which lives by no ‘higher’ standard. You sir are the last one that should be lecturing folks about the idea of the ‘public good’ when you take full advantage of having the Governor as your brother. Sir, as a former student of yours please make a public apology to Nick Severson for falsely accusing him of not living up to your notions of the ‘public good’.
Thanks,
Senior Political Science,
